Well I've decided to join the masses. Start a blog. Maybe it will help me keep my sanity. Having recently moved to the city in which hell goes to die, I need something to aid me in keeping my sanity. I'm normally a fairly sane person...I promise.
I've also decided that I don't like my major. I'm a business student. Have been for over 5 years. I've got roughly two semesters left to finish this degree and I've just now realized that I hate business school. I don't enjoy it...I've always said I wanted to be an accountant but I hate math...I don't enjoy accounting...I don't enjoy business research and analysis...and I really despise business ethics (Are they even allowed to use those two words together???)
I want to study History and English and Foreign Languages. I want to take classes in creative writing, Russian history, and Arabic. I want to be an editor, a historian, a writer, a singer, a dancer, a teacher....anything but a business student. Is it worth finishing the business degree? I've been working on it for so long and am so close to finally finishing it but I hate it..I'm not happy. Shouldn't I be happy?
